Children’s Day & Teacher’s Day

In Korea they celebrate Children’s Day on May 5th, so our school puts together an activity day where we can teach our kids different games and just play together and bond together. We taught our kids how to play Jenga, and a dance game where they had to shake off all the sticky notes we stuck to their bodies, and many more. It was really fun!

On May 15th, Korea celebrates Teacher’s Day, although we don’t have an additional activity day for the teachers, each student writes a letter to their teachers and then you and your partner teacher create a little book for each other. My partner teacher, Elaine, made the funniest and cutest book!!! And my kids were so sweet to me.
